Journal History

The International Journal of Technology-Enhanced Physical Education and Sport (IJTEPES) has the following history of development:

2026: Establishment and First Edition
IJTEPES was officially established in June 2026 in response to the rapid development of technology integration in the fields of sports and physical education. The journal launched Vol. 1, No. 1 in June 2026 with a focus on publishing empirical research and theoretical frameworks.

2026: Acquisition of ISSN and Legality
The journal officially obtained an International Standard Serial Number (ISSN) for both print and electronic versions from BRIN, which strengthened the legality of its publications internationally.

2026: Platform Updates and Open Access Policy
In line with its commitment to the widespread dissemination of knowledge, IJTEPES updated its website design (using modern aesthetics) and strictly implemented an Open Access policy under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International (CC BY-SA 4.0) licence.

2026: Global Vision and Quality Improvement
IJTEPES continues to strive to improve content quality by targeting indexation in reputable databases and expanding its network of international editors and reviewers to cover a broader global scope.

2026: Accreditation and Initial Indexing
IJTEPES begins to be indexed in several national and international indexing institutions such as Google Scholar, Garuda, and Crossref (DOI). During this period, the journal also begins to implement stricter double-blind peer review standards.
